Estadio Encanto

Estadio Encanto is pretty new – it opened in 2020. It’s got space for around 25,000 fans, so it gets a really good atmosphere going on game days. You’ll find it a bit outside the main tourist zone, tucked in the Pradera Dorada neighborhood.

Why It’s Called Estadio Encanto (and the whole Kraken story)

This is where it gets a little funny. It used to be called “El Kraken”, like the mythical sea monster. The whole team had this cool pirate theme. They changed the name recently to Estadio Encanto (sponsors ugggh)… honestly, most fans (myself included) are still a bit attached to the Kraken.
